Our approach is divided into two distinct stages to guarantee a structured and thorough design experience:

Stage 1: Conceptual Phase

​

Your journey begins with a detailed design consultation, where we delve into your aspirations and preferences. Following our consultation, you will receive a bespoke design brief and scope of works alongside your project quotation.

This charged consultation fee of £195 is refunded upon acceptance of our quotation within 30 days.

Concept Creation 

Upon acceptance of our quotation, we will start work on your design concept. This will follow with a meticulously crafted design concept board, showcasing our vision and thought process for your project. 

This phase, spanning up to 3 weeks depending on project complexity, concludes with a meeting for approval. This stage is focused on refining your vision and aligning it to your lifestyle and design preferences.

Design Development

Upon approval of the initial concepts, we move forward to the design development. This stage covers detailed FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) mood boards and includes: 

• A precise 2D floorplan, including minor adjustment options (lighting or socket placements drawings are charged separately).

• A digital mood board (2-3 pages) featuring furniture selections and high-level variations if required. 

• A physical sample board of the carefully chosen items (where samples are available).

• One feature joinery elevation.

• A comprehensive, itemised shopping list.

• Selection of up to 3 supporting paint colours and 2 wallpaper options if needed.

• Allowance for up to 3 item changes; further changes are subject to an hourly rate of £125.

 

Additional Luxuries

Enhance your design with our supplementary services:

• Bespoke Lighting and Electrical Design.

• Bespoke Joinery Designs.

• 3D Render Drawings.

• Detailed specification work (flooring, stair runners, doors, skirting, architrave, handles, panelling, coving, windows, feature walls).

• Extra site visits or shopping trips, available at an hourly rate.

 

Stage 2: Procurement and Installation

​

This stage includes a full turnkey service. Hinton House Interiors will handle the procurement and installation of all furniture, accessories and finishing touches. 

This stage gives you access to our exclusive trade discounts and trade-only suppliers. This service carries a minimum spend per room of £3,000 with a procurement fee of 30% on purchased items. Installation and delivery fees are charged separately. 

This includes regular site visits and progress updates, provided via email to keep you informed of the progress, as well as ensuring the final design and styling matches your vision.

Our Full Interior Design Service is complemented by the option of enlisting our extensive Design Project Management Service. This service ensures seamless communication and collaboration with your Architect and builder, bringing your design to life effortlessly.

By overseeing every detail, we take away the stress of managing the project yourself, allowing you to enjoy the process without the overwhelm of coordinating trades, timelines, and decisions. 

This service carries an additional fee.
