One of the biggest mis-conceptions about renovations projects is that you need an Architect. However, you can save £1000's by considering if an Interior Designer can help solve your layout issues.

Not all Architect's will consider internal space planning in the same way an Interior Designer does. And because of this, a lot of projects involving layout changes can actually benefit from using an Interior Designer instead of an Architect.

As an Interior Designer I will assess your existing floor plan, analysis your family traffic, consider your lifestyle, your wants and needs and provide you with a plan to help you achieve the home you dream of.

This service can also help you make a decision about whether you really need to extend or not? Sometimes, some clever internal layout changes can save you £1000's in building costs and give you the space you really need.

The truth is, layout will make or break your home. A poor layout will impact on every aspect of your family life and can result in a huge amount of money spent, with a space that still doesn't work.

A well designed layout will maximise every inch of your home, taking into account your furniture, your family traffic, how you use each space and in-turn, give you the home you really want.

  • Get-to-know-you questionnaire - a personalised and detailed questionnaire so I can understand your family, lifestyle and goals for your project.

  • An in-person or online meeting - a 90 minute meeting to discuss your project, chat about your lifestyle, and view the spaces. 

  • A personalised follow-up package - this detailed report will include everything we discussed during our meeting and provide you with 2-3 comprehensive layout options for your project, presented in a 2D CAD format to scale.

  • For an additional fee, planning permission and building regulation application packages can be provided.

How it works...

  • You can book a free discovery call to discuss you project and find out more about how my 'Fix your Floor Plan' service can support your project goals.
     

  • Once you have secured your slot, you will received your tailored questionnaire. This allows me to gather information on your project ahead of our meeting.
     

  • Our 90 minute meeting can take place in-person or online (Travel is included up to 30 miles from SO18. I'm happy to travel further afield but additional charges will apply).
     

  • After our meeting, I will send you your personalised follow-up package within 5-7 days. The package will include everything we discussed and agreed during our meeting, as well as 2-3 comprehensive layout options presented in a CAD format to scale.
